About this course

Make a leaded stained glass red tulip panel. You will learn how to cut glass, followed by leading, soldering and finishing.

Course Description

This one-day course gives you the opportunity to make a piece of traditional stained glass in the form of a red tulip panel. The panel measures 19cm x 24cm. On this practical course, you will learn the basic construction processes of cutting glass, putting a panel together with lead, soldering, cementing and finishing.

All the materials needed to create your stained glass piece are supplied. Due to time constraints, you will not be able to design your own patterns. Please be aware that most of the work is done standing up.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should consult your GP before enrolling on this course, as working with lead and solder can be harmful to the developing baby.
