Learn to sing in close three-part harmony, experiencing the joyful dissonance and resolution of the vocal traditions of Georgia, Corsica and the Balkans.

Course Description

On this one-day course, we will sing in close three-part harmony, experiencing the joyful dissonance and resolution of the vocal traditions of Georgia, Corsica and the Balkans. Interesting chords will be savoured. Deep listening will be encouraged. Connections will be made through space and sound. Friendships will be formed.

Some of the harmonies are complex and take a certain amount of confidence to hold, therefore would it helps to have some confidence in your voice, and some experience of singing. The tutor is an experienced choir leader, performer, composer and community maker and will support and encourage you throughout this one-day singing course.

Please wear appropriate clothing/aprons for the workshop or studio, this includes stout covered footwear (no sandals or open toes).

Classes are from 9.15 - 5pm
