Learn about the wide variety of shrubs available to gardeners and how they can be used effectively in different ways to provide colour, texture, structure and form to planted landscapes.
Benjamin Pope will illustrate the importance of winter interest and structure in the garden, demonstrating how careful maintenance helps the development of your garden. This day includes a practical workshop in weaving a natural plant support.
Water is the essence of life. This day will introduce ways of working with water in the garden to utilise its benefits both aesthetically and practically.
Tom will go through a number of seasonal tasks, both from a theoretical and practical standpoint. This course is an opportunity to discover tips and techniques to help get great results at home.
Enjoy a talk by James Crebbin-Bailey about the history of topiary and a practical demonstration on cutting techniques, followed by a hands-on workshop to create your own topiary to take away.
