Describe your approach to teaching:
I believe it's important that students develop problem-solving skills in a supportive, encouraging environment. Asking questions helps them discover processes of elimination and enables them to reach logical, conservation-focused conclusions.
What inspires your own work?
My inspirations are the skills of generations of craftspeople and the challenge of sympathetically restoring spirit and function to objects they left behind. Passing on those skills is a privilege.
