Simon Nobs

Simon is City & Guilds trained and CPD accredited, with 35 years of experience running his own decorating business and has tutored in adult education. He has spent ten years running workshops and online courses in marbling and graining techniques and is a member of The Heritage Craft Association and SPAB.

Describe your approach to teaching
My teaching approach is to design and develop accessible and affordable accredited courses, in a safe, inclusive environment, suitable for college students, homeowners, professional trades, scenic artists and craftspeople.

What inspires your own work?
My inspiration comes from providing training in red list, endangered crafts. I hope to inspire others to learn and pass on these techniques to the next generation of conservation professionals.
