Describe your approach to teaching
My teaching style is relaxed and informal. I integrate creative exercises, readings, small group work and discussion alongside more formal teaching. I aim to be inclusive and diverse in my approaches and materials.
What inspires your own work?
I find that the most extraordinary stories are often those of seemingly ordinary people, like those I grew up around in inner city Birmingham. Putting these stories in the world is what inspires me.
