Describe your approach to teaching.
I teach traditional and contemporary styles of gilding and take a very personal and organic approach to providing instruction. Garnering an understanding of the students background and future aspirations ensure correct and fluid progress.
What inspires your own work?
Gilding is a craft with a pedigree of 4500 years. Creating modern pieces with ancient recipes really energises me. And I love breaking the rules in gilding!
