How would you describe your approach to
teaching?
I want my students to be surprised by their writing, just as they
might be if they took a forgotten path and found themselves in a
place of utter and unexpected beauty.
What inspires your own work?
I feel more alive, more creative, more connected when I spend time
in the natural world. And I know that I am not alone in this.
