Describe your approach to teaching
I teach observational drawing and painting based on traditional methods and try to give my students a fundamental knowledge of oil painting and drawing which they can use in their future work. Whether they want to study fine art further or just bring visual beauty into their lives, I believe my lessons will help them to do just that.

What inspires your own work?
I always find something to draw or paint. You just have to look around and you will find many motives that are worth taking a closer look at. It can be a familiar street view or a scattering of apples on the kitchen table, everything gives you the opportunity to test your abilities as a painter, anything you find beauty in.
