Jason Breach
Jason Breach teaches and demonstrates throughout the UK, Australia, and the USA. Jason was introduced to the woodturning lathe at the age of twelve. Starting with a course with Cecil Jordan; introduced him to the art of the turned wooden box. He is a regular contributor to Woodturning Magazine.
Describe your approach to teaching
My approach to teaching is tutor-led example followed students then repeating what has been demonstrated. This allows students to get a real insight whilst having guidance as required.
What inspires your own work?
The wood plays a major aspect in my designs, the colours and contrast. I try to push the ideas of what a box can be and develop techniques to achieve these creations.
