James Evans
James Evans studied ceramics at Central School London after which an MA at the University of Colorado. He currently teaches at Morley College, London. His biomorphic sculptures can be viewed at the Marsden Woo Gallery London and Boon, Paris. James is also a member of the Royal Society of Sculptors.
Describe your approach to teaching
Teaching is very rewarding. It is an honour to be able to assist students to achieve their personal goals, to challenge them and most importantly have fun.
What inspires your own work?
I am inspired by moods and try to capture the feeling of one or more in an object with an unknown provenance from an indeterminable period.
