Greg Mosse

Greg is a ‘writer & encourager of writers’. His thriller THE COMING DARKNESS was published by Moonflower in November 2022 and has been named one of the best thriller books of 2022, in the Times. His ‘Maisie Cooper’ crime series will launch in July 2023. Since 2005, he has written and/or produced more than twenty plays and musicals, including tours to London, Manchester and Suffolk. He and his book have been featured in the national press.

Describe your approach to teaching
My approach to teaching is based on thirty years of experience helping a wide range of published novelists, playwrights and screenwriters to build their stories as a bricklayer builds a house – paragraph by paragraph.
 
What inspires your own work? 
I am inspired by characters in difficult circumstances who struggle to free themselves from the chains with which the story binds them. I admire fluency and clarity with unexpected depth.
