Glenn Sujo
Glenn Sujo is an inspirational, hands-on educator, leader and convenor of workshops and symposia, whose work as an artist, author and curator reflect deep knowledge of the histories, theories and research methodologies of drawing in latter-day visual cultures. All this activity is underpinned by an intense and viable practice alert to the pluralities of drawing language.
Describe your approach to teaching.
I am deeply interested in the creative process, its challenges and possibilities, attuned to the dynamics of learning, insight, self-discovery and change.
What inspires your own work?
Drawing presents an expanded field, assailing us by its economy, intimacy of touch, disclosure and unintended accidents together enlarging our sensory and spiritual perceptions, wresting meaning out of chaos.
