Describe your approach to teaching:
In my sessions students gain first hand experience of creating stop-motion sequences through a ‘learning by making’ approach. I encourage students to experiment and engage in creative
problem solving, supported by demonstrations and examples from contemporary animation
practice.
What inspires your own work?
I am interested in experimental narrative and storytelling. My work is driven by automatism and humour to establish chance connections between found images, accumulated drawings and collected sound recordings.
