Anne Laws

Anne Laws is Study Skills Tutor at West Dean College of Arts and Conservation, providing support with learning strategies including preparation for reading and note-taking and effective writing skills. Anne has had a lifetime interest in the arts and volunteered as a Partner in Art at Pallant House Gallery.

Anne’s first degree is in Psychology and Language in Use. She is a qualified teacher and postgraduate in Applied Linguistics. Anne has taught English, mainly to adult learners. She worked in Africa and Sweden and spent time in Japan training tutors. Anne has led writing skills seminars for professionals throughout Europe, and trained overseas lecturers as an associate Senior Lecturer at the University of Chichester.
