Adrienne Chinn
Adrienne is a tutor at West Dean, London and Sussex campuses. She has taught interior design courses at West Dean for many years and is also a published author of historical fiction.
Interior Design
Adrienne Chinn trained at KLC School of Design, graduating with an Honours Diploma, and has run her own interior design consultancy in London and Brighton since 1999, specialising in residential design. She has worked on projects in the UK, Europe, Morocco, Canada and Grenada. Additionally, she has been a design columnist for Period Ideas Magazine, and wrote "The Home Decorator's Colour & Texture Sourcebook", which has been published internationally, most recently in China.
Since 2014 has taught regularly at KLC School of Design (now part of West Dean), in London where she manages the short course programme, and Cohim Design College in Beijing and Shanghai. A keen traveller, has spoken on interior design at trade fairs and design exhibitions in the UK, Japan, Kazakhstan and Russia.
Creative Writing
Adrienne Chinn has written five novels for Harper Collins, including the international bestseller, The English Wife, which reached #2 in Canada and was a USA Today bestseller. Since then, she has published the first three of the four-novel Three Fry Sisters series, set from 1913 through to 1945. Her next book, a timeslip historical suspense novel set partly in the Tudor era, will be published in 2025, with the final book in the Three Fry Sisters series coming out in 2026.
