About this course

Learn how to create landscape paintings in mixed media. Combine the use of pastels, watercolour and inks together in one painting. This course forms part of a series of six courses that you can purchase as a group or individually.

Course Description

Learn how to create paintings using a variety of media including pastels, watercolour paints and inks. You will start in the studio and if the weather is good, work in the beautiful tree lined street outside West Dean, Bloomsbury. If the weather is unsettled, you shall work from landscape images in the studio.

The day will start with a slide presentation. You will then learn about different mediums and techniques. In the afternoon you will learn about composition.

By the end of the course, you will have a good understanding of how to use pastels, watercolours and or inks, and a better understanding of composition.
