Interior Designer
What is your professional background prior to KLC?
As I have a degree in Public Relations, I was working in this profession for over seven years, but interior design has always has been my passion. Around three years ago I started to participate in design related projects, helping out family and friends, assisting with decorating and styling home and office space.I had no previous education in interior design but I had instant passion for it. Just before starting the Full Time Certificate Interior Design at KLC, I finished my first serious project. Seeing the project turn out successfully meant I knew I was on the right path.
When you were looking for courses, what was it about this course that appealed to you?
I wasn't based in London when I was looking for courses, so the main criteria for me was learning intensively over a short period of time, the full time Certificate course was perfect for my requirements.
What are you enjoying most about the course?
It's the fifth week of the course and I'm 100% sure I made the right decision by taking this course. I love the learning intensity, amazing tutors, inspirational lectures by specialists in Interior Design, non ‐stop practice and the visits to showrooms.So far it has been an extremely fulfilling experience. I know the best is yet to come.
Where do you look for inspiration?
It's everywhere and can be anything - nature, ambience of a location, people, emotions, cultures, art, architecture and design objects.
