Interior Designer
What was your background before you started at KLC?
Having graduated from the University of Durham in 2010 with a BSc Natural Sciences, I spent 3 years working in the City in Recruitment and HR.
Why did you decide to study interior design?
I had always had a passion for art and design from a young age, and often found myself drawn to interiors and architecture. I wanted my career to be something that I enjoyed and felt passionate about, which motivated me to do the course at KLC.
What did you think of the course?
The course has given me a multitude of new skills, which has surpassed my expectations. The structure of the course has given me the most authentic experience as possible at working on real-life projects.
What are your design interests / strengths?
I enjoy almost all aspects of the design process from the initial concept stages, planning and the final details. I particularly enjoy producing the visuals, which for me just brings all your design and sourcing ideas together.
I am inspired by…
There’s lots of place to get inspiration in and around London, I am inspired by everything from nature and art to the latest catwalk collections.
My favourite interior is…
The Jane Antwerp by Piet Boon. I love the combination of the architectural details of the chapel with the contemporary interior.
