Interior Designer
What was your background before KLC?
I've been living in Italy, studying economics at first and then working for a company creating creative content for the website and the blog, writing articles and posting content on the Facebook page.
Why did you decide to study Interior Design?
One day I came to London to a friend of mine's house and helped her with a project without having ever seen something like it. It was a pop-up space project and as soon as I started to think of ways to express the concept she created, my mind was running free generating ideas. There I understood that that is what I would like to do in my life.
Tell us about your experience of the course
The course has been amazing, it has given me the instruments to realise my ideas.
What are your design interests/strengths?
I think that my strength is my ability to transform something purely abstract into something real.
What space inspires you?
I like spaces where there is a strong contrast and different heights because they make me feel curious and they give me emotions.
Who is your favourite designer?
I have not got a favourite designer but I like how Marcel Wanders and Fabio Novembre manage to push abstract into concrete creating strong contrast and amazing spaces where I can clearly see that that is the nearest representation of the vision they had.
Where to from here?
I would love to work, I would love to be part of a creative team, every month I change the channel through which I can express at best my creative skills which can be applied to every field, from interior, furniture design, product design and so on.
I feel working could make me understand where my creativity is best expressed, but at the same time I want to study more, in order to be competent in every field and competitive in the industry.
