Climbers – adding vertical colour and interest in the garden 18 May 2025, Sunday with Martin Ogle

In this course, Martin Ogle will focus on climbing plants for seasonality and interest, learning the fundamental steps for selecting the right climbing plants.

The day will begin with an in-depth lecture on climbing plants and how climbing plants can be used to our advantage to promote interest and seasonality within our gardens. Martin will demonstrate his methods for choosing climbing plants for a planting palette, including things to consider during the selection process, as well as a detailed look at plant character and form, with a ‘right plant, right place’ philosophy.
