Join us for a day of presentations, performances, discussions and an informal evening concert featuring Henrik Persson and Luke Challinor.

In association with the Viola da Gamba Society, the Viol-making symposium features talks from leading viol makers, performances, and a discussion of techniques, making it an essential day for viol makers across the UK and Internationally.

Makers are encouraged to bring along one instrument they have made to be displayed on a shared table.

The symposium will also be streamed online via Teams.

There will be a table for makers to display their instruments. If you are attending and would like to bring along one instrument that you have made, please email [email protected] to register your interest and reserve a space.

Tickets
£25 - In-person attendees - includes daytime talks, lunch, tea & coffee and the evening concert
£5 - Streaming only - includes daytime talks only. The evening concert will not be streamed
Student tickets are free (lunch and concert included), but please book a place.

Accommodation at the College can be booked separately.
