Sizzling Sex Scenes and The Part Time Writer Wednesday 22 January, 5:30pm with Beth Miller & Catherine Black

Beth Miller, our very own subject tutor and author of six novels, including the bestselling 'The Missing Letters of Mrs Bright' will be joining us to discuss her writing life, and the novel - working title 'Last Goodbyes' —  she's currently wrangling into shape. Her background is in sexual health and perhaps as a consequence, reviewers have said of the sex scenes in her novels that they are 'delightfully filthy', and ‘seemed to be written by a horny teen.’ 

She is also the author of two non-fiction books: one about Shakespeare, the other about The Archers. Her seventh novel is out in 2025. She teaches regularly for Arvon, and is a book coach for writers at all stages. She has a PhD in Psychology and is of course the subject tutor for Creative Writing at West Dean on the MA and MFA
