For those looking for a way to escape this Autumn and Winter, West Dean College of Arts and Conservation has just launched their new programme of arts and crafts short courses for October 2022 through to March 2023.
With many people returning back to school or university, it’s the perfect time to start 2022 creatively. West Dean College of Arts and Conservation has just launched a programme of more than 225 short courses taking place throughout January, February and March 2022.
Following the Government’s latest guidance, award-winning West Dean Gardens, near Chichester in West Sussex has announced that it will remain open to the public during the lockdown that starts on Thursday, November 5, 2020. The Gardens are open seven days a week with their Winter opening hours from 10.30am to 4pm and entry continues to be by timed tickets available to book online, and pre-booking is essential. The Gardens’ Shop and Restaurant will be closed.
West Dean College of Arts and Conservation has just launched 300+ short courses including many that are inspired by West Dean’s wonderful surroundings and their award-winning gardens. From October 2020 to April 2021 a wide variety of courses will be on offer to encourage you to embrace Autumn.
West Dean College of Arts and Conservation is on a mission to get more of us tapping into our creativity with a new Make Time to Make campaign to launch a wide range of 300 short courses which have just been released online (westdean.ac.uk). Courses take place from October 2020 to April 2021, and range from one day, to 6+ days.
As we ease into Autumn we need to have something to look forward to and inspire us into the Winter months. West Dean College of Arts and Conservation's programme of short courses from October 2019 - March 2020 is now live online, and among the 430 courses on offer are 89 new ones. Trends this season include the Autumn landscape, re-using and extending the life of materials, and courses inspired by the earth during with an Earth Matters week of courses in February.
More of us are opting to enrich our lives through arts and craft practices, unlocking creativity as well as escaping the pressures of daily life. This is exactly what the new Autumn/Winter short course programme at West Dean College aims to deliver; a way to find a new craft or develop an existing skill, all the while enhancing quality of life.
